Mercury retrograde in Cancer is officially over. Things can resume again.
Don’t forget that for the next two weeks we’ll be in a post-retrograde shadow period. This “retroshade” is the entrance and exit period of a planetary retrograde in which we may feel the effect of retrograde although it is stationed direct.
In post-retroshade, you’ll be feeling the aftereffects of Mercury retrograde and may find yourself tying up the loose ends that may have been pulled loose over the past few weeks. Perhaps you had a terrible argument with someone that may have forced some time apart – you may soon reach a resolution. Or perhaps your technology went haywire these past few weeks and you lost a lot of data somehow – you’ll probably recover it. Appointment fiascos will likely go back to their regularly scheduled programming, so if any doctor’s appointments or client calls have been mis-scheduled or running behind, they’ll get back up to speed.
How was Mercury retrograde in Cancer for you? I certainly had a terrible amount of miscommunications resulting in emotional reactivity and sensitivity, as well as an abundance of appointment scheduling problems and technology failures. Here’s to hoping that Mercury stationing direct will straighten out some of the tumultuous things we’ve been going through. However, remember that the cosmic shifts of 2020 have been challenging in many different ways, so Mercury retrograde alone is not solely responsible for everything that appears to go adrift.
All of these challenges are meant to help us grow, but that doesn’t mean any of these tribulations are any less difficult or seemingly easy. Allow yourself to rest when you need it. 2020 is the year of challenges and growing pains. Pace yourself.
