Before we move into the flirtatious energy and themes of justice this Libra season, let’s stop and reflect on Virgo.
Over the last month you may have encountered themes of self-care and taking charge of your physical health, depression or anxiety from mental exhaustion, becoming a detail-oriented workaholic, or auditing some aspect of your life and creating a more sustainable system for it.
Like an engineer, Virgo pulls things apart so that it can analyze all of its pieces to better understand it. This energy may have manifested in different parts of your life over the past few weeks.
Why do we dissect things to better understand it? The fragmentation of Virgo knows that there are many pieces that make up oneself, so while others may disregard a few missing pieces, Virgo believes those missing pieces are crucial to creating a complete picture. While others may perceive this as perfectionist behavior or being too much of a “fixer,” Virgo sees their actions more as that of a “healer.”
Where Cancer represents unconditional love from the mother, Virgo represents healing and nurturing from the mother. Virgo heals by addressing the gaps, the mistakes, the errors, and the missing pieces, so they can create something that is whole. Virgo nurses the wounds of your inner child who doesn’t feel “enough.”
We needed the analytical lens of Virgo so we could identify what wasn’t working for us. Virgo gave us the tools we needed to redefine our purpose and gather a better idea of what to do as we move forward into Libra season.
What is the learning lesson for Virgo season? If you’re a “big picture” person, sometimes you actually do need to sift through the details with a magnifying glass, because the devil may lie in the details. And if you’re a detail-oriented person, sometimes you may need to take a step back from getting lost in the interwoven threads of your masterpiece-in-progress. Rest and tend to yourself so that you can come back to your project with a fresh set of eyes.
