Have you noticed a theme in this year’s events? There’s a lot of breaking down barriers, revealing broken systems, opening dialogue & pushing for change. We’ve got a lot going on. Let’s unpack it.
Saturn is in Aquarius. The last time this happened was during the Rodney King riots. This transit between Saturn (limitations, orders & social structures) & Aquarius (the rebel & humanitarian of the zodiac) shows us that humanity will rebel & tear down antiquated systems that cause harm to certain groups of society. This happened during the Rodney King riots, & it’s happening again now.
Additionally, Saturn & Pluto are meeting in Capricorn – the last time those 2 planets met in this sign was during the Protestant Reformation in 1518. That was a time of religious, political, intellectual & cultural upheaval. Similar to what’s happening right now, we are awakening to the true ugliness of systemic racism & are trying to change it.
When Mars (aggression & focus) conjuncted Saturn (control and social structures) in March, we saw COVID-19 spiral & of control. We were all panicking & battering down the hatches. When it moved out of that aspect, things cooled down & we regained our bearings.
Let’s not forget Uranus moved into Taurus last month & will stay there for 6 years. Last time Uranus was in Taurus was the Great Depression. Humanity will learn how to enjoy themselves with less damage to the planet. We witnessed thriving wildlife as a result of us staying inside, & it made us think about how we can move towards sustainability.
Jupiter is also in Capricorn, which hasn’t occurred since the Great Recession of 2007. We are likely to see some challenging economical issues as a result of all of this commotion.
We’ve had some tough cosmic movements. It’s a reminder that what happens on earth is a reflection of what happens in the sky. As above, so below.
Astrology begs us to pay attention to these cosmic cycles so we can move through them confidently instead of resisting them. It won’t last forever, but we needed all of this to happen in order to change.
Bliss is on the other side of this. Trust the process. Let it go. And flow through it.
