Hi, eclipse season.
In the last two posts, we discussed the challenging planetary transits of 2020 so far, as well as the retrograde season we’re currently in. These cosmic movements are largely responsible for the hailstorm of current events bombarding us, as well as the unique personal transformations we’ve all been undergoing simultaneously.
On June 5th, we had our first lunar eclipse in the sign of Sagittarius. Around this time we felt the pinnacle of social tension. We had tough conversations about racism, we got into fights and debates about human rights, and it was social conflict rearing its ugly head at us. We were exposed to covert racists around us and within our social circles. Under Sagittarius, we saw justice being served. We sought truth, and we began to find it.
June 5th was also Breonna Taylor’s birthday.
We’ll be seeing a solar eclipse on June 21st in Cancer, where we can expect emotions we never knew we had to come up to the surface. Topics surrounding family and loved ones will be our main focus, and under the new moon, we’ll be learning the importance of caring for all humans of this world like family.
And the last eclipse of the summer will occur on July 5th in the sign of Capricorn, which is the polarity (opposite) of Cancer’s maternal energy. This lunar eclipse will bring themes of order, patriarchy, and social structures. Will we be seeing a reform in the way our society maintains order?
2020’s eclipse season will be the last eclipse season with 3 eclipses until the year 2029. Let all of these synchronicities sink in.
Hang in there, cosmic warriors. This is a battle for humanity and we must bring everything to light in order to quantum leap forward.
